If the day was suddenly warmer than usual you may have some old colder weather fuel in the tank that percolated in the warmer weather. It would then tend to flood the engine when parked. Don't know if they use blended fuel where you live, but it also some times acts strange because of the alcohol content. Again it is usually a seasonal thing and maybe it is over for you. Max
